Kaitlin began practicing traditional psychiatry in 2016, where she became frustrated with the limits on symptom improvement with conventional treatments.
Through this practice, she recognized an ongoing need to address the root cause of symptoms and that patients needed earlier interventions to help prevent disease.
Patients are not merely healthy one day and sick the next. Instead, people progress towards illness. Because of this, she began to study functional medicine in 2017. She completed her fellowship in anti-aging, metabolic, and functional medicine in 2020. She is passionate about analyzing and treating conditions by considering the whole body rather than treating each symptom by itself.
